Building cyber resilience in the public sector since 2006.
At Barrier, we recognise the unique challenges the public sector face. Limited and often unrealistic budgets, combined with the pressures of delivering public services create opportunities for attackers often motivated by financial gain. We understand this and it’s why we have invested the time to ensure our services are available to all the public sector via the following frameworks.

G-Cloud (Digital Marketplace)
G-Cloud is now in its 11th iteration and was designed to make it easy to consume cloud services and related services in the public sector. You can use the Digital Marketplace to buy cloud services through the G-Cloud framework. The framework is an agreement between government and suppliers. Buying services through frameworks is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts. There are around 31,000 cloud services on the G-Cloud framework, divided into the following categories (lots):
cloud hosting – platform or infrastructure services for processing and storing data, running software or networking. For example, content delivery networks or load balancing services
cloud software – applications that are accessed over the internet and hosted in the cloud. For example, accounting tools or customer service management software
cloud support – services to help you set up and maintain your cloud software or hosting services. For example, migration services or ongoing support
Get in touch if you would like to discuss solutions any of our solutions or services available on these frameworks.
